Wagga Wagga Olympic Distance Triathlon

A few members of TeamTSO travelled 6.5 hours south for the Wagga Wagga Triathlon Festival. Very hot, 37 degrees. It's great to see such fantastic improvements from our athletes.

Caleb Agostino - 1st overall across the line in the Super Sprint race on Saturday.
Ross Agostino - 2nd in his AG.
Ben Richardson - 1st in his AG in the Olympic distance, and ended up 6th overall, running through the field.

Myself, I am very happy with my preparation for Busselton Ironman in 2 weeks. This was a pre-race test, with 8 hours in my legs on Thursday.
I finished 3rd OPEN male, and 4th overall in a sprint finish. I was pleased with my tactics in the swim, and stayed with a group of 4 who were setting a good pace, around 1:15-1:20/100m. I set out on the bike to test my progress here, as I have improved 5% since Cairns 70.3, where I was 12th overall. I rode 58:51, and was bang on my goal power output. The run was 11km, and I did this in 42 minutes. I ran myself into 3rd, however I was pipped at the line.
The TSO program I am following is working wonders. I am using some of the key sessions Boyd gave me aswell. On my bucket list was to break 2 hours for an Olympic distance. I did this today, 1:59, given the run was long.
